    Hi. BVE20-01.

    Can I use this for using 2 TV satellite boxes from one LNB from the dish.? I have tried
    Just one box using the unit as a straight through connector and that does not work either. Am I doing something wrong, ie not connecting the BV unit to something else

    • AXING:

      No, the BVE splitter series is designed for terrestrial and cable TV. It has no DC pass and is not suitable for satellite TV. Apart from that, it does not make sense to distribute a satellite signal that way. Because of the missing polarity switch, the second receiver is missing a large part of the possible programmes. Solution: use a special one cable solution LNB (SCR / dCSS-LNB), then you can distribute passively using a SVE splitter. Or a classic setup with a Quad LNB or a multi-switch.
