Protection against 4G and 5G interferences

The 4G mobile phone standard is now established and 5G is spreading more and more. Since the frequencies are partially in the range of the frequencies used in TV cable networks, bad shielding of components can lead to interferences.In order to avoid this problem, all AXING premium-line antenna receptacles are already designed to not only meet the required Class A shielding effectiveness, but also to meet the extended Class A + 10 dB requirement.

    The BSD 967-xxX series of antenna sockets is already optimally designed to meet the requirements of modern cable networks. It supports an extended frequency range of up to 1.8 GHz downstream and 684 MHz upstream, making it ideally suited to current DOCSIS 3.1 networks as well as future DOCSIS 4.0 upgrades. Since 2025, the series has been fully approved for use across the entire German Vodafone network and is being successfully deployed throughout Germany.
