AXING IPTV solution
The AXING IPTV solution basically consists of the following 3 components:

Headend as streamer and encoder for TV reception (hardware, possibly antennas and distribution technology)

AXING middleware (software for operation and configuration, will be installed on a server)

Smart TV or set-top box connected to an existing TV via HDMI
Ethernet network cable as a technological basis
The TV channels are received centrally in a headend (via satellite, antenna or as cable TV) and converted into an IP data stream. A common Ethernet twisted-pair cable is required for the distribution in a building. Other services such as Internet and telephony are running simultaneously over Ethernet. Our IPTV middleware is operated on a server in the local building. Guest rooms use IPTV-enabled TVs or IP set-top boxes. The AXING middleware appears on all TVs in your corporate design. With our 3 packages we offer different services.
The big advantage of an IPTV solution is that an interactive system is built. Every guest has an individual TV menu and TV program. That starts with a personalized greeting. You can offer your guests several language settings. This allows you to pre-sort the TV and Radio programs according to their preference. The subtitles and audio tracks can also be preset. The program selection can be made by genre, also a parental control is feasible.
Easy to edit TV menu
Our solution includes a CMS (Content Management System), which you can use to maintain the contents of the displayed menus. The usage is simple and intuitive. For example, you can edit menus or restaurant’s service times. You also advertise events and package deals. You can add all content in multiple language versions. With the CMS you will ensure an ideal marketing and improve the service for your guests. Information from external providers such as weather, flight data, short messages can also be incorporated. You can use an info program (movie file) to present your house or region.

Connection to a PMS
If your home has a PMS (Property Management System), it can be connected to our IPTV solution. This allows the guest to interact. The services such as pay-TV, spa, housekeeping and restaurant will be automatically sent to your booking system. You can also send messages and show the guest the bill, even an express checkout is possible.
You can use remote access for commissioning and service. Fast and convenient support is thus possible at any time by the installer or optionally by the AXING service via the AXING SMARTPortal.
