The OMX 1513-01 is a passive element for multiplexing and demultiplexing wavelengths. The multiplexer routes two signals with different wavelengths, which are present at separate connections, to one connection. The demultiplexer distributes a signal with two wavelengths to two connections so that only one signal with a specific wavelength is present at each connection.
