CATV subscriber amplifier for modern cable networks

The problem solver for low levels

This subscriber amplifier amplifies the signal level by 15 dB and can compensate for attenuation when distributing cable television (CATV). Such attenuation of the signal is caused by the addition of a distributor and/or longer cables. The amplifier can be used for operation in modern cable networks that use a frequency range of up to 1218 MHz and deliver cable internet at gigabit speeds. The data signals in the frequency range 5 to 204 MHz are not amplified so as not to impair the return path to the network operator. This upstream for Internet and telephone is attenuated by only -1 dB in the 5 to 204 MHz frequency range.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Downstream 258 … 1218 MHz

  • Amplification 15 dB

  • Upstream 5 … 204 MHz

  • Bidirektional passive −1 dB

  • Appropriate for Ethernet over Coax (EoC) up to 204 MHz.
