The required transponders are received via satellite and converted into SPTS streams by the MIP 8-00N streamer. The IIP 6-0x transcoder transcodes the required/desired programmes into the lower SD resolution and (if desired) also converts the compression method from HEVC or MPEG 4 to MPEG 2. EPG, subtitles, teletext, language variants etc. are transmitted.

Finally, the EdgeQAM MIE 8-00 converts the programmes into DVB-C/-T. These can now also be received by non-HD-capable TV sets. AXING supplies all system components from the satellite antenna to the feed into your existing home network from a single source.
