EoC as a bridge solution for fibre optic connections

With a fibre optic connection, you can achieve a very high Internet speed – unfortunately often only up to the transfer point in the basement – far away from the router. Distributing the Internet signal at this speed in the home therefore remains a challenge.

It does not make sense to set up the router in the basement, as the Wi-Fi signal barely reaches the upper floors.

The solution: EoC simply transports the signal from the ONT (Optical Network Terminator) to the router via the existing coaxial cable – at gigabit speed.

The router was installed in the basement

If you are unlucky, the router was installed in the basement. EoC can also help here.

The solution: The EoC is connected behind the router and transports the Internet signal via the existing coaxial cable to another EoC modem. This EoC 2-32 is then equipped with Wi-Fi and supplies the end devices with Internet.
