A fibre-optic connection provides very high internet speeds \u2013 unfortunately, these often only reach as far as the connection point in the basement \u2013 which is a long way from the router. Distributing the internet signal at this speed throughout the house therefore remains a challenge.<\/p>\n

Router in the living room<\/h4>\n

The solution:<\/strong> MoCA simply transmits the signal from the ONT (Optical Network Terminator) to the router via the existing coaxial cable \u2013 at speeds of up to 2.5 gigabits per second.<\/p>\n

Router in the basement<\/h4>\n

If you\u2019re unlucky, the router may have been installed in the basement. MoCA can help here too.<\/p>\n

The solution:<\/strong> The MoCA adapter is connected downstream of the router and transmits the internet signal via the existing coaxial cable to another MoCA adapter.
